Balcony Solar Water Heater
Sunpower Solar is the first company in Spain to bring you specially designed balcony panels for your home or office.
The Sunpower Solar balcony solar water heater is a passive system where the storage is separate from the collector. The system consists of the solar thermal collectors, water storage tank, controller, circulation pump, expansion tank, flow meter, check valve pressure valve, pressure gauge and other accessories. Service life is approx. 15 years.
Working Principle
Temperature sensors monitor the system. When the temperature in the storage tank falls below the prescribed settings the controller which monitors the temperature activate the circulation pump, causing the heat conducting liquid (water or anti-freeze) to travel through the closed loop.
The heat is transferred to the water by the heat exchanger inside
the storage tank. In the event the collectors do not reach the set
temperature, the controller will not activate the circulation pump.
Instead it starts the electric heater inside the tank.
